Memories of the Never Forgotten
Tell me that one life doesn’t or can’t make a difference. And I will tell you, politely, 'you're wrong.'
One man made a difference 2,000 years ago. One man changed the course and meaning of history by rising from the dead after being nailed to a cross. What difference did this one man make? He defined truth. He gave meaning to the word hope. He was (and is) the embodiment of love. His name is Jesus.
So if one man can make a difference by giving the greatest sacrifice, can one man make a difference simply by being born?
I'll give you two.
Two men who've been through war. Two men who know what it means to be "in the trenches," because they literally were.
Two soldiers.
Neal Baugus and Glenn Warren. My grandfather and my surrogate grandfather. Two men who have made the words I'm typing possible. Neal was the father of the man who raised me, my father, Ted. Glenn was the father of the man who showed me the joy, the life, of my salvation. That man being Bob.
This website is dedicated to those men. Neal who begat Ted and Glenn who begat Bob. Four men who have made me the man I am today.
And, last but not certainly least, this website is dedicated to my mom, Renee...who begat me. |

Simply believing that one man can make a difference. If you are encouraged, then I’ve accomplished what I’ve set out to do. If you’ve seen a different perspective or seen a perspective you’ve never seen before, my mission is complete. If you think a little differently about certain things than you did before you came, then my work is done. If a dream is rekindled or you’ve seen your dream for the first time, my joy is complete. If you’ve seen the person of Jesus for the first time, or see Him in a whole new light, then it is finished. If this is the first time you've given the person of Jesus you’re undivided attention, then I can sleep peacefully. I hope to encourage you, spur you to dream, to discover what makes you come alive...simply I hope to be a vessel.
