  about gospelamnesia.com

  Who?

I am but one vessel who believes one man can make a difference; that man being the person of Jesus. If inquiring minds desire to know more...check out the right column...

  What?

Simply put: a reminder that Jesus saved us to enjoy Him, not work for Him.

the concept was inspired by a song and a thought…

GOSPEL AMNESIA
by Brandon Karstetter

we remember He lived
we remember He died
we remember He was crucified

we forget the reasons why
He came to set us free
from a life of death we received
from the choice made so long ago
by Adam, the first earthly soul

we forget about the glory
we forget about the grace
we forget about the Sacrifice
taken in our place

I can't remember
I seem to forget
He came for life, not regret
He came to make reborn
those the world had scorned

I've forgotten the life
I have been blind
caught up in the ties that bind
sweaty palms and an anxious heart
won't get me anywhere but the dark

I've forgotten the life
it's like I've been living right
but not seeing the light
falling down the stairs
having hit my head
on the airbag of my moped
protecting me not from the
lies and incantations
of the Evil one's plantation
whipping me and keeping me down
because He knows even at my lowest
I'm still wearing the Crown

will I remember
will I forget
what it means to regret?

will I know
will I see
what He has for me

I can't forget
the life I lead is what I believe
not what I do
because what I do is not who I am
but who I am has a tremendous impact on what I do

the thought…

there is an ignorance of the positive due to the over-emphasis of the negatve

  When?

it began on March 3, 1977 and continues to this day...

  Where?

Reedsburg, WI to Radcliff, KY to Amberg, (West) Germany to Radcliff, KY to Murray, KY to Hardin, KY to ...

  Why?

gospelamnesia.com is a reminder of the positive...something so often left out the Gospel that's preached and taught. We've forgotten the enjoyment, the life, the message of the Gospel; the message of love, grace, acceptance, life, and peace. The Gospel is also a message of suffering...pain must become our friend. Pain is not a negative thing. It's a maturity thing. Where were we before pain...specifically pain we could comprehend and analyze? Were we not children.

  How?

by living by the Life of Another... --- "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me doees His works." John 14:10 --- "Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy comes from God..." 2 Cor. 3:10

all i ever asked of the Lord was to be was a nobody who could tell everybody that there was a somebody who loved them enough to die for them.
